We have learnt that sitting outside in the fresh air soaking up the sun is a very pleasant way to pass the time

We have learnt that surgery hurts

We have learnt that cold frosty mornings can be fun

We have learnt sending out multiple text messages doesn’t mean you get multiple replies

We have learnt not to be afraid of asking for help

We have learnt to use an array of hospital equipment at home

We have learnt that the body heals in its own time

We have learnt that surgeons are real people

We have learnt that people are genuinely interested in what you have to say

We have just learnt that there will be a future
