Enhancement: version 3.7 beta

As you know we have recently upgraded to version 3.7 beta of the forum software.

As part of the upgrade there are several new feature sets. We will be rolling out aspects of these feature set over the next few weeks to test their operation and requirements.

First to be introduced is a thread prefix. These vary according to the forum you are posting too and relate to the thread types we have in operation, ie report, forecast, discussion etc.

The second element is a form of social networking. This brings improved features to your user profile. There are a number of sections in this area and they will be released as and when, so keep checking in regularly for updates.

If you find any issues, please report them in the bug thread.

Tags have now been activated.

Tags allow for easier searching of a thread. You can add them when posting and you can see common tags in the portal.

Forum notices have now been activated.

Notices are visible for certain conditions ie a guest will see a welcome notice, a person who has not completed registration will see a reminder notice etc.
