NZ Natural Hazards

Hi from Bazza
Interesting to see the EQ reports lodged.
As an Emergency Manager I get all of the reports as they happen from Geonet.
Hazard watch is an important role in Civil Defence and some of the members messages are of great interest to me. Thanks for that.
Are there any other Emergency Managers around?
Cheers
Bazza

Dunno mate, but it would be really interesting to hear from you guys, particularly given that many regions have had alerts and the like to deal with lately.

Well you have Mt Taranaki looking over you. Yes we do get early warnings and begin alerting our staff. Ruapehu has gone a bit quiet at the moment.

Glad you find the reports useful. I've tried to title them in such as way as to be different from other sites, but still providing enough information and a link to Geonet.
