Yellow Double quake for Whakatane

Two earthquakes struck the Whakatane region within 15 minutes of each other last night.

The first, measuring 3.7, struck at 7.19pm. It was centred 10km north of Whakatane at a depth of 5km. Whilst a second earthquake, measuring 3.8, struck at the same place at 7.35pm.
