Had a bit of fog around this morning, the temp dropped to 10ºC and the forecast is for a clear sky and 23ºC

GALE FORCE Northwesterlies are still progeed for next tuesday with thickness of 5600 so we could see widespread temps above 30ºC in SE Australia, with possible 35ºC+ values across northwestern Victoria.

thick fog this morning cleared to a clear but very hazy day. While sitting on the train home from uni this afternoon, I could see the Melbourne skyline was beautifully silhoetted against the haze Overnight low 10ºC, max so far 25ºC.

Australia always pushes the highs down at least 10°,a continental climate is better than an oceanic cold one,the high its over you now will be a little 1018hpa cell near New Caledonia by next week when it eventually moves

Yesterday was pretty cloudy with smoke haze but was nice and warm with 22ºC max :cheers:
western and Northwestern Victoria recieved heavy rains, upto 2-3 months worth across important farmland so yer thats good. Totals ranging from 20mm in the far northwest of the state to a big 65mm across the northwestern farming districts. According to the met office, this is the biggest single rainfall in northwestern Victoria in "decades" Keep in mind these are areas that recieve only 200-400mm annually.
