It was quite an interesting month - Michael Fish said that the first 10 days of the month (when the daytime temp. was 20+C) broke the record for the warmest May just on their own

Its certainly been topsy turvey again this year with a north/south divide in reverse. If I remember correctly a similar situation happened last year with our Scottish members gloating about sunshine while we were suffereing torrential rain and floods.

....all due to the unusual position of the jet stream
