| Years ago after a trip to Chile I compiled this table from Internet resources. It shows rainfall averages for a selection of sites in Chile and Peru (only the former in monthly detail). The data is out of date (only goes up to about the late 80s), but covers a good range of years in most cases. We don't really know what being rain-starved is like in this country... |
