There has been quite a lot of complaining on UK forums, but this report shows they're not really justified. Not enough acceptance of reality - only the "1 in 10" months will do.

for the first month of summer, scotlands average temperature is only 1oC warmer than our average temperature here in the auckland area for the first month of winter, I see

The problem with the UK....its full of whinging pomms

There are only 3 conditions that will please the UK weather forums in summer.....

1) Thunderstorms or tornadoes
2) At least 30 consecutive days of 25C + temps
3) 6 feet of snow

Some were complaining after 5 days of 23+ temps and high humidity... just get into your shorts and tshirts and cycle to work!!
