Re: severe world weather forecast

i have this problem with a few sites ATO2. When using IE7 i go on this site and Lightning Wizard (another site) and it just says "website cannot be found". I have found a solution...

My ISP is AOL, now if i run AOL (after it dials BT up etc), and leave AOL open in a separate window but still use IE7, the website works fine. As soon as I shut AOL down and refresh the page in IE7 it goes blank again - I have no idea why that happens

Re: severe world weather forecast

Right. Interesting. I normally use SeaMonkey as my browser for most things. Firefox 3 doesn't work that well for me. My broadband has just been throttled back to 64 k (true: 64k!) because I have used my broadband allowance for the month. not LOL!
Will try the site with IE7

Re: severe world weather forecast

If I can't get anything up after 60secs then I'm not interested I'm afraid. If it is the site I am thinking of, it used to be a lot quicker and yes, it has interesting global weather patterns and forecasts and storm watches.

I can download at 460kB/s so it must be a slow server. Ahh, two minutes and still nothingto view. Wasted link, sorry. Mich22 - please sign in at the Introduction thread and share your background

Re: severe world weather forecast

I did a Whois and it told me the status was "null".
Tried another query site and it said it could not determine anything.
We will have to rest on it and see what happens!

Sounds, at an ignorant guess, an AOL thing.

Re: World Wide Meteo

It's working now - there must have been a server issue, but yes good info around the world at a glance.
