    Hi there, I'm good thanks.
On the contrary, it's been an exceptional start to winter. 3 widespread snow events so far, I myself woke up to a dusting this morning! Most unexpected. That's a total of 2 snowfalls before Christmas, unheard of in this mild corner of the UK lol Several cold spells in the last 2 months, very interesting although the cold does get a tad bit boring after a while admittedly...

Yes, he is a nutter for sure. What shocked me was that the paper could give so much space to his twitterings at a public meeting. I think NIWA got less coverage when it came by recently to talk to the public about the impact of climate change locally.

Good luck with your exams and Uni application!

I sent off my Uni applications on Wednesday, we are allowed to choose a maximum 5 courses - i'm hoping to study meteorology, environmental science or GIS

Wow, there you go I learn something new everyday lol
Your school system is different to ours, a close friend of mine emigrated to NZ a year ago and says your academic years start in February i think? Here in the UK we go from September to July with a 6 week summer holiday during August (the peak of our summer). (It used to be January to December about 10 years ago when they changed the system).
I will be sitting my exams, they call them "A Levels" over here (Advanced Level), in May/June next year and receive the results in August (2009).

Are you planning on going to University then?

    Cheers,
    Dan

I think it was shortshock.com or something, but has disappeared now. Probably failed a login register sequence and does not appear now. Or our Site manager, Grant has come back on board. I had seen that you had visited "his" profile page and in a way I was warning you about Members who were Spam entries...

Keep up with the wx obs and thought provoking posts...

Well done David - you have reached 10 posts! HAHA! I have enjoyed your intelligent posts too!

I see you visited the latest "new member"s profile page, it looks like a total SPAM entry. And it's a SPAM website so if there is a post then I will be very surprised if it is anything but a SPAM. Besides where is "df" as a place?... I can lock down the Member very quickly.
