- 27-Aug-2008 08:03ATO2Any time you want information I will glad to help. NZ is easy to get around- once one gets here!Be good if the prices of flights come down! It is years since I have been to Scotland and I am determined to return and spend some time- it is a beautiful and interesting place. I always wanted to go up through the Western Isles.
- 27-Aug-2008 07:02TokWWI'm sorry you feel that way, we are all interested in weather and most of us have family or friends in the UK and have visited Scotland and do feel a link with the "Homeland". Knowing the conditions there is of interest to many. Most of the folk here are very modest people and I tread very cautiously respecting some other's POV. We would welcome some conversation over your weather vs ours any time.
- 27-Aug-2008 00:41TokWWFine ScotWeather, I have kept our conversations to share. I am not trying to be argumentative but it is arranged slightly differently in NZ to cater for the different perspective we have on sharing our local weather more as conversational style and it does not offend those senior members here that do not have a PWS at home.
I am personally quite happy for those of other countries to share their weather as a detailed summary more as a database for the day or as chatty observations and in the International Forum as rainfan from Sydney does.
I have to get some shut eye, have a good day! - 26-Aug-2008 21:30DollsworthI forgot about Dimitris (weather1967)

I see what you mean now
- 26-Aug-2008 19:41TokWWScotweather I understand that, but we are generally keeping local NZ weather reports in the one day thread and other compatriots such as our Sydney friend posting in a thread he created in the International Forum part of our site. if you wish to make a commentary about the differences or simliarities for the day then we can empathise with you. I guess some members here are more staid and less tolerant - I felt it myself after posting my site's weather dteails in exactly the same fashion.
Look, I can't stop you posting and I was I think one who thanked you for your first post - there are several of us keenly interested in your weather and UK weather in general so I think others would join a thread and comment if you posted there. Don't let the Aussie get all the glory there!! LOL. email me at suthg@xnet.co.nz for further discussion if you want to talk about anything. My surname is Sutherland!! BTW, glad you and Martin have got the ScotWeather Forum looking good! PM capability after 10 posts I think.
Cheers - 26-Aug-2008 08:15ATO2No , NZ has no horrors like Australia. No snakes (like Ireland) and only one poisonous native spider which avoids people.A few areas have dreadful sandflies. You can camp outside without fear. Some bush areas may have introduced deer, goats or pigs or the damnable Australian possum but that would not really be much of a factor in visiting.
- 25-Aug-2008 21:39Dollsworthlol - i don't have his number but still came across this site

i was searching for something in Google back in March and it popped up as a result
Then i thought, hang on this looks oddly familiar, saw 'Grant' as the Manager and thought yep must be the same person! (Back then he was "TW"
