Re: Mag 2.4 - 10 km west of Taupo

What I find interesting is that the last 10 quakes have been 12km deep or shallower and this last one was only 2km deep - exrtremely shallow. of the 10, 3 were in the SI, one east of Wgtn in Cook Strait, and one SW of Hawera well out to sea. I wonder if these shallow quakes mean anything?
