| Re: Mag 2.4 - 10 km west of Taupo At first I thought it was a fault with the RSS, but thats 3, 2.4 Mag quakes in the same region in a matter of hours. |

| Re: Mag 2.4 - 10 km west of Taupo 2 on Friday or Thursday at same place both within minutes of each other. Reports say that Ruapehu is dormant/quiet mode at the moment, despite the lake temperature. A lot of very shallow quakes recently, <15kms, not sure what it all means.

| Re: Mag 2.4 - 10 km west of Taupo Understood! But there has been very shallow actions all the way up and down the divide from Matata to Arthur's Pass region (IIRC) including Cook Strait. But yes, a lot of very local activity near Kinloch in one pace - that carved cliff face with that vertical drop down into the lake I presume or near abouts. Like 5 in a week or more. I wonder what Lake Taupo temperatures are doing at the moment?
