After the distinct cold front came through with a sleety affect, some gusts of wind and a sudden drop in temp, it is practically calm now. After midday it is supposed to turn westerly and partly cloudy.

Fine day in Chch apart from some high cloud. Light frost to start with, but milder in afternoon.
