I was reminded I hadn't submitted a report for some time. Well truth is there is nothing to report other than rain, rain and more rain. Thought it may become boring. Have posted a new photo. Today - well it's raining!!

Thanks Michholt, too wet for golf? Well it probably is for a full round, and cold with the breeze if you get wet too.

But I guess it is par for the course (excuse the pun) for August, I remember doing our lambing beats in August Hols home from Wairarapa boarding school, and struggling with the motorbikes and tractors on wet dangerous hillsides. Leggings and gumboots, mud and sheep needing attention. Never forgotten!

Thanks - you could post any reports in the named daily report thread and then they are kept together.

RWood - Question: I would associate highest rainfall month, if in Spring, with lowest sunshine hours. They would appear to be correlated quite well?

Your region has become very inovative with wine, tourism etc. Time to try aquaculture, perhaps!
