Re: Weather reports for August 18th, 2008

Partly cloudy, should be quite a lot of sun but a cold S/SSW wind. Currently picking that rainfall record to not fall.

Gloriously sunny, mild and dry Aug in Perth so far (let alone Broome).

Re: Weather reports for August 18th, 2008

passing cold showers here with some fine intervals
only 7.7C after a cold shower went through
looking forward to warmer weather
Farmers are not seeing alot of grass growth at the moment, creating a feed pinch

Lightbulb Re: Weather reports for August 18th, 2008

Minimum overnight low of 1.5ºC and fog right through the night, very thick this morning. Very calm since about 8pm last night. Perhaps the cheap design anemometer bearings are dry again and the rotation has stopped in light airs - new ones are on order. Just a few clouds once I got to work and swinging S-SW here and 3.5km/hr. Bright sunshine here! Yes!

Cranked up to about 13 degrees. Sun came back for a sunny afternoon. Light Westerly, around 10km/hr.

Re: Weather reports for August 18th, 2008

Nice sunny afternoon here but it only got to 11.9ºC although that was higher than TV1 predicted and my own forecast both on 11deg max. Clouding over in the west again, looks like rain over Bennydale/Te Kuiti way.
