Babs is on a distinguished road
Re: Weather reports for September 2nd, 2008

It's looking grand here this morning after early moring drizzle. Bit of a pesky northerly rattling the trees, but all in all very nice.

12 degrees, Air Pressure 1034 hPa.

Are we getting some amazing high pressures for this time of the year?

I don't recall seeing them this high last year at the beginning of spring.

Yes, the pressures are very high at the moment. There is a thread about it Babs.
Grossly misleading headline Enjoy.

Re: Weather reports for September 2nd, 2008

It started very clear and lovely this morning but by 11am the cloud had rolled in, varying from mainly cloudy to partly cloudy with distinct 100% solar periods. - 2:54 sunshine hrs recorded already today. Baro is still high at 1038.6hPa - the only few days I have had higher baro readings than yours Windy, but I should have - being closer to the centre. Perhaps I am still a few points below the true baro reading, but this is good enough. Max temp of 15.9ºC so far, may get warmer this afternoon...

Still inside for most of today, however, i put the bike in the back of the Call-Out car today so will ride home and leave the free car behind. If I need to drive around site after hours, it is there for a call-out. I shall enjoy the ride home today, even if it is a head wind going home!

Still a lot of cloud, but some filtered sunshine. By the way Tokww, I seem to recall reading recently that 80% of the solar max for the season is considered "bright" - have very little info. on this however.
