Beauty sunrise, cloudless, rather chilly. I make it 7.5 degrees, airport is 4 degrees. Wind: S at 3 km/hr

Fine, clear and cold here, 3 degrees at 6.30 am, looks like a real nice day coming up in Avalon.

Nice sunset last night but heavy rain arrived about 10 pm last night..

Very cool without socks on this morning - day off preparing for family function tomorrow. Slept in till 7:50am - yes! I needed it. 0.9ºC was the low this morning and a beautiful clear sky to boot! Just light breezes and slowly warming up.

Down to 1.4C overnight, but a fine Friday followed, with a high of 18.4C and 6.9 hours of sunshine. In short, a lovely spring day.

Partly cloudy day here after some sporadic light showers cleared around 9am. Cooler though - 6.4C overnight reaching 16.5C this arvo. Southwesterly wind with a max gust of 38km/h today.

Have had 40mm of useful rain in the last week.

Looking to be rather dry for the next week or two.

Good! I have the end of a house to paint during a weeks leave (I did not say vacation!!)

Hope you get some good dry weather then Graeme, there's nothing worse than having 'showers possible' or 'odd shower' in the forecast and worrying that if you start painting it might rain!

If you go ahead the chances seem to favour a shower whereas if you leave it the chances don't

That sounds like the old adage about the umbrella - take one with you and the showers will stay away! I'm sure I'll get enough fine stuff to get some more coats on.
