New Plymouth, 8am: Hell, it's only 5 degrees, be less at the airport! Lovely sunrise, cloudless sky, almost calm.

Don't worry, you're at least getting good sun. Y'day was not bad here but very cool, the odd passing cloud. Today has dawned fine but some southerly showers are expected. So far the month here has been cool and changeable with a bit less sun than average - not too surprising after the previous run of months. But there's no indication of a cooler winter at this point - may revise that later.

I don't think I could hold you to that prediction about Winter! LOL.
Last night was quite warm- it clouded over and stayed around 12 degrees all night.

Currently 12.3C here in the UK, at 21:34pm, after what has been a much cooler day - very welcome indeed. Temperatures slowly rose under clear blue skies this morning to around 23C, but the cool breeze off the North Sea turned quite gusty at times and made it feel cold in the shade. The evening saw more high based cloud develop, but a fantastic deep red/purple sunset to be seen, if only i had my camera handay! lol
Still expecting a breakdown on Thursday with some heavy and thundery rain expected...
