We had some light showers until lunch but then it stayed pleasant and sunny- around 17 degrees or so. Right now (6pm) it is very clear, little wind.

Re: Weather reports for May 14th, 2008

Currently 13.6C here in the UK, at 21:44pm, after what has another much cooler day - although it has turned a little more muggy this evening. Temperatures got to about 22C, witha cool breeze off the North Sea this has picked up a lot this evening and i am waiting patiently for some thunderstorms moving up from France (the breakdown i mentioned before). They are the slowest moving storms ever but they sky has graudlly turned dark and the flies are out it's also turned quite eerily quiet to hope is not lost, hopefully something tonight.. making it storm #2 here in the southeast corner.

Enjoy your thunderstorm, Dollsworth! I intend to spend the day outside in the Sun, landscaping.

the thunderstorms moved up in bands from France, but fizzled out as they crossed the English Channel!! I guess its to do with the temperature of thee the sea at this time of year - had this been in September it might've stregthened them. Still waiting for storm#2 this year

Um- just a suggestion, since you like those noisy things-is it a practical option for you to take a day trip across to France on the strength of predictions of thunder? I mean, in the USA you see people chasing storms!
Just a thought!
