Weather reports for June 15, 2008

Fine and mild after a little morning low cloud. The last couple of nights have been exceptionally mild for June, though the city record high 14.0C min. set in 1971 will be safe.

Tokoroa - Lovely and sunny first thing and then fully overcast and the temp has flattened at 16 -15 ºC (paradox there...) and practically calm 5km/hr and baro is dropping slowly. Overnight, DP was 0.6 but now its 2.3ºC.

Re: Weather reports for June 15, 2008

A lovely sunny start yesterday, with clear blue skies and hazy sunshine. Cloud bubbled up once again during the morning, and after midday it turned quite dark with threatening shower clouds everywhere. A lot of mammatus around as well.
It remained this way for the rest of the afternoon, with occassional glimpses of sunshine and large shower clouds passing by, but it stayed dry. Around 9.30pm onwards a light shower passed by overhead, but only enough to dampen the ground. A storm some 40-50 miles to my northeast on the Kent Coast.

Good, good, Dollsworth, the thunderstorms are getting closer. Not too many days left for my prediction!
