Beautiful day here, I am gardening, transplanting cabbage trees and just wearing a t-shirt.
I suppose I should work out my mean maximum temperature for the month of June and post.

Sunnay apart from a couple of cloudy spells midmorning, but doesn't feel at all warm. Looking forward to the June data.

Re: Weather Reports: July 1st, 2008

My bad, 60% of the time from that 90deg quarter and only a small % at 25kts, average appears to be about 9.5kts, ave gust = 12.6kts, max 1min wind speed = 39kts WNW. Max gust = 55kts SW on 24th at 23:13. Still striking figures.

Re: Weather Reports: July 1st, 2008

Fine day in Chch with a few scattered clouds. Heavy morning frost, combined with ground dampness from recent wet weather = black ice. I slipped on some on pavement, even as I was looking out for it. (it can be so deceptive)

Re: Weather Reports: July 1st, 2008

I am glad we don't get that frost stuff - I have enough trouble slipping on what I can see, let alone something invisible!
