Your weather sounds more or less like mine. I was talking to my mother, in Wanganui and she reckoned it was nice and sunny there.

Re: Weather reports for July 17th, 2008

Nice temps for sleeping overnight and no frosts in the morning - warm house to wake up to - AND I don't have to light the second fire in the evenings either! ... Grumble, grumble - big house, 75yo, no insulation, 10ft studs, no maintenance done in 20 years... slowly renovating inside, outside leaves a lot to be desired, but hey! Its the location and the view and the lifestyle (4 noisy kids... LOL) - and its a good location for a wx stn, - oh except for the blind wind quarter NE to SE due to a 150m diagonal line of very tall pines 50m away, and hills etc.

Most of the time now I wish I was back on a farm enjoying the outdoors! Even the wet and mud was ok, so long as you had the right weather gear and farm equipment for the job.

Yes the day is "comfortable" and not raining, just a dull pleasant air about it. Good day for a walk... or cycle ride, but I still have the Call-out car until tomorrow. The satellite pic show a mess of wet stuff coming from down from the tropics in 2 days time.

We have steady rain here in the Bay of Plenty, not pouring down, but wetting. We have some wind to go with it as well. Not a pleasant day at all.

Currently at 2.50
Temp 12.4
Wind 26 kmp/h East
14mm currently at 4.4mm/hr

Solid high cloud with a nice flat-harbour sunrise, light rain started this afternoon. Virtually windless.

Just 0.5mm rain all day since 9am... I enjoyed a walk around a part of the mill today, it was good to get out of the office.

The best I could do is a walk in the rain!
