Smile The Earth and Moon from far away

Do take a look at the image of our planet and the Moon together as from the distance of the Sun from us. A beautiful sight.
I placed the picture in the Astronomy Gallery. At home I downloaded a gigantic TIFF file but it doesn't seem much of an advance on the 40KB one here!

Beautiful!

I came in late on an interview with an astronomer on Nat. radio last night.
Touched on some effect relating to relativity discrepancies. No doubt I can catch up in some future issue of New Scientist or the like.

Nat Radio had a good series on Relativity back in 2005, I think. It maybe is on their website, for download?

Yes, that's right. I did a search for some a few years ago and there were not very many. I will hunt around again as one clearly showed one of the continents- Africa, I think.
Also, there are some from the surface of Mars, showing the Earth in the night sky.
