Yes it is, though the difference would seem so tiny on Earth!
I am looking forward to the results of the Phoenix Lander's oven experiment- it is currently "baking" a soil sample.

Skies were clear and sunny on Sol 1 on Mars. The temperature varied between minus 112 degrees Fahrenheit in the early morning and minus 22 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon. The average pressure was 8.55 millibars.
It is late Northern Hemisphere Spring there at around 68 degrees North. [I think that is -80 C to -30 C- damnable cold, anyway!]
