Always useful to sit back and have a beer once in a while. Glad the problem is fixed

Heh, heh! Beer and Science do mix!
I bought a very short focus, four foot diameter mirror from a engineer once. His wife had placed it for a bird bath in the garden and wondered why the birds never went near!

 LOL

I guess the concentrated sun's rays sizzled them on arrival! Actually, it would decrease the size of an object seen not increase it but neverthe less, seeing another moving object as you drink must be disconcerting! HIC!

Re: High afternoon temp recordings

Yes, placement of the temp and humidity sensor is very important and need a good airflow over them too - but definitely no sunshine - reflected or otherwise! Good spotting - obviously the beer honed your thinking skills!

Beer is good. Science never grew until beer was discovered!

Re: High afternoon temp recordings

Galileo was probably having honey meade though... and Leonardo Da Vinci probably stayed happy with wine... I myself, like Kerry, will have a cool beer at the end of the hot day! And then my thinking becomes a lot clearer... LOL
