An overnight low of 11.8ºC gave way to a lovely calm clear morning with a light SE breeze. The wind turned directly to westerly to about a 15km/hr average at midday as the temperatures rose. Max was 27.5ºC and has cooled some with the mostly cloudy sky for the later afternoon. A nice day nonetheless.

There's been more cloud out at Waitakere than in the city during the day, consequently we haven't seen temperatures getting up as much - our max has been 22.8°C. There's a cool WSW moving the clouds past overhead, currently it is a very pleasant 19.9°C with 74% humidity.

Nice to be back.
Lovely day here, warm enough, little or no wind, the odd few drops of rain with the sunshine, a little thunder in the hills, almost thought I was still in the tropics.
Heavy rain forecast for the Raukumaras, but it doesn't look too bad from this side, maybe it will happen overnight.

Nice day here in West Melton and has cooled down somewhat tonight and wind has dropped. Temp at moment is 15.9 with wind from the ENE at 3.2 avg. Humidity at 81 barometer 1007.8. Rain has been forecast for tomorrow and really looking forward to that and may freshen up the grass a bit. Also less fire danger round the district too if we get it. Total rain this month so far is 1.2 mm.
