Very cloudy early on at Waitakere and a brief heavy shower just on 7 am deposited 1.0 mm of rain, max rate approx 110 mm/hr. Half an hour later leaving for work, signs of cloud clearing but still some fairly significant dark grey clouds lurking over and behind the Waitakeres themselves. Our low was 13.1°C, now around 16°C

From a low of 4.4 deg this morning at 7.30 am we are now 10.4 - dew 7.8 with the wind from the SW at avg 1.6 - humidity is 84 down from 97 first thing this morning. Barometer 1012.0 and a total of 5.8 mm of rain this month. West Melton has sure welcomed Autumn in with the low temps overnight. The glass walls outside were all white and couldnt see through them to the pond.

We had 95.7 hrs in the first 10 days; cloud and showers rolled in yesterday about 1.30pm. Variable cloud with some sunny breaks this morning after some overnight rain.

What about the rain? Others are measuring it and your storms are passing over...

Been a mild day here, a max of 21.8ºC at 13:46 currently 20.9ºC at 15:50, a few clouds around. Check cam image in signature banner... :)
