What about the rain? Others are measuring it and your storms are passing over...

Been a mild day here, a max of 21.8ºC at 13:46 currently 20.9ºC at 15:50, a few clouds around. Check cam image in signature banner... :)

Graeme

precipitation levels are the same as other locations close by at 8mm now. Are you expecting them to be different?

I had noticed some rain comments from Suezy and Mark indicated rain but you hadn't given numbers, not really baing critical at all, it was just an observation and that rain would have been welcomed with end of summer parched land.

Partly to mostly cloudy, high of 22.6°C

Same here, with the high being 22.1°C and a strong SW wind gusting 50km/h this afternoon/evening.
at times there were some spots of rain but barely enough to call showers

Partly cloudy in Auckland CBD for most of the day, some quite sunny spells. Driving home could see much more cloud over the Waitakeres and it has remained completely cloudy all evening, have also had a brief little shower. The SW is blowing well up the hill, we even have had gusts up to 18 km/h (thats windy for us!! :)) but from ESE (due to our shelter). The max temperature was 20.6°C - now down to 15.4°C and dew point just below 12°C, its going to be a cool night.

Had a brief shower come through, not enough in the gauge to report on though.

I saw on the metservice Auckland page around 9.30pm that a gust of 78km/h had been recorded in the last 10 mins, I assume from Auckland Airport. Much calmer than that here, interestingly
