NZ Weather reports for Saturday 13th March. Please post your weather observations in this thread. If the weather is changeable, you may want to update us more than once throughout the day. If the weather becomes significant - ie high winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms etc, you may want to consider starting a new topic to record this special event. This topic is open to everyone within New Zealand. You can take a look out of the window, read your garden thermometer or if you have a weather station, post the current data. Taking part is the important thing, as the topics keep an interesting record of the weather conditions throughout the day from around the country. Please remember to post a location with your report as your profile location may change in time.
A cool start to the day , overnight low of 6.4 degrees, Barometer on 1015, overcast and dull, no rain since about 11-00pm

Clear skies up in the Waitakeres, coldest night in the last couple of months - down to 9.3°C, its a beautiful morning. Temperature is rising nicely in the sunshine, still only 14.7°C though.
Nice and fine and still at present,if only the afternoons would stay like that, nice temperatures too.

Thanks for that Suezy - I'm sure you shared some on Ruapehu and Tongariro for us as well - we can sure feel it!! An overnight low of 1.8ºC in the centre NI today - at 7:30am, with clear blue skies and a Sou-Easter that suddenly turned Westerly at 9:30 today and moved around some. Now around 10km/hr from NW and 18.4ºC at 12:20. Partly cloudy now too. Light juvenile cumulus.

Seems like the SW is blowing everywhere else but here, our ESE is gently disturbing the leaves on the ground - though it is picking up and we've recently had a gust of nearly 18 km/h. It has been partly cloudy with sunny periods, but now has clouded over completely, temperature has dropped from 20.1°C to 18.3°C and still falling.
