NZ Weather Photo Competition June 2008

I think there is enough of us appearing on a regular basis to give a competition a try. Just for fun.

The competition is open to all registered members of NZW. You may submit 2 photos that may not be edited (other than crop or resize). The photos must be weather related and must have been taken during June 2008

5 points for the winner
3 points for 2nd
1 point for 3rd

A 2008 league table will be established, based on the points given above.

Closing date for entries is the 1st July and voting will take place until the 10th July. All NZW members will be entitled to vote for their favourite image.

Thanks Grant - I was just browsing the Gallery, hopefully something will come up before the end of the month, frosts, clear sky sunsets with the orange glow to deep blue... even something from the webcams! But they get over-written the next day. Will keep my eyes open...

Great idea - I'm in. I have to start carrying a camera in the car. There are often some doozy shots when I am either on the way to work or home again, and I never have the means to capture them

yeah - C'mon guys - I've stuck my neck out and put one in there to get things started, but it would just be embarrassing to win, if I was the only one

A few more entries are required for the competition. If you 've not yet done so, get out with your camera over the weekend and take a pic of the weather

So could I exchange the animated gif video for the cloud over Te Aroha - wanted to add that to the description as well... The Animated video into daily weather obs section. "ME LIKES CLOUDS" ... Thanks.
