Post National Geographic praises NZ Marine Reserves
The latest National Geographic has feted New Zealand's marine reserves for bringing entire sea ecosystems back from the brink.

However, marine scientist Bill Ballantine, instrumental in setting up the Goat Island reserve near Warkworth, said although New Zealand was a world leader, there was little to cheer about "if you're leading a race of arthritic tortoises".
