On 16th October 2006, a strong 'norwester blew in and brought down a 100ft tree on my next door neighbour's property, causing substantial damage and writing off my neighbour's car. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
The Christchurch Press official photographers were a bit slow off the mark that day and I managed to capture this shot, which featured as the main front page photo in The Press the following day.
